Tu-Lan Nguyen, MD

Dr. Nguyen received her undergraduate education at St. Thomas University in Houston where she graduated magna cum laude. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She subsequently completed her residency in Psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Nguyen holds memberships in the American Psychiatric Association, Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, Houston Psychiatric Society, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society. She supervises child psychiatry fellows from the University of Texas Medical School program at Devereux Texas, a residential treatment program in League City.

Dr. Nguyen treats children, adolescents, and adults in her outpatient practice focusing on medication management with a ‘bio-psycho-social’ perspective. She is also Medical Director of an adolescent unit and a young adult unit at Devereux Texas.
