Spravato® Therapy

SPRAVATO® is the first FDA-approved nasal spray medication, taken with an oral antidepressant, for Adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) Depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Greater Houston Psychiatric Associates offers a Physician Directed Intensive Outpatient Program (PD-IOP) at three locations. The PD-IOP is designed for patients with significant stress, anxiety, or depression whose needs cannot be met by traditional outpatient psychotherapy and medication management.

Treatment Resistant Depression

Various modalities of treatment can be useful for patients experiencing Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD). Those offered at Greater Houston Psychiatric Associates include Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and SPRAVATO®/esketamine intranasal spray. If indicated, Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) may be provided by one of our physicians at a local behavioral health hospital.
