Harry received his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and earned his graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from ACU. He is licensed in Texas as both a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). With over 25 years of experience, Harry recognizes the importance family systems may hold in helping others with their therapeutic journeys, as well as those life challenges where individualized one-on-one therapy may be needed.
While there are no guarantees in therapy, Harry has had great success helping people overcome individual and relational challenges. He assists clients to identify their own strengths and resources and helps them to develop coping skills and strategies to address their concerns. These approaches are supported by research and have been shown to be effective for a diverse range of difficulties: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), and The Gottman Method of Couples Counseling
