Dr. Woodham received his undergraduate education at Rice University, graduating cum laude with a degree in Physics. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. His subsequent training included an internship at the University of Virginia Medical School in Charlottesville, Virginia, and a residency in Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He served as Chief Resident during the final two years of his residency. He is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Woodham’s professional memberships include the American Psychiatric Association, Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, Houston Psychiatric Society, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Woodham treats adult and adolescent patients in an exclusively outpatient practice, and specializes in psychopharmacology and the treatment of substance use disorders. He is certified to provide buprenorphone (Subutex) treatment.
