Robert P. McKenzie, MD

Dr. McKenzie earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine, where he also earned a master’s of science in cell and structural biology. He then completed a residency in general psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. During his residency and fellowship, he received the William S. Thayer Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award, and was nominated for UTMB Outstanding Fellow of the Year.

Dr. McKenzie is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
